HOLD HARMLESS AGREEMENT:
Permittee agrees to indemnify and hold harmless the East Caln Park & Recreation Board and East Caln Township and its employees for any and all claims from bodily injury or property damage, including costs and expenses arising out of the use of the Park and its facilities. Pavilions, Park Equipment and Facilities are not sanitized routinely. Guests are required to bring their own Sanitizers and use before and after using park equipment including but not limited to playground equipment, tables/chairs, restrooms etc. Park Guests must follow all State, County, Local and Center for Disease Control regulations.
$50.00 Damage/Security Deposit will only be returned if there is no damage to the Pavilion and that all rules were followed including but not limited to:
-No inflatables (bouncy houses, slides etc.)
-No loud music.
-No tape, staples, nails, string, ribbon, streamers etc. affixed to the Pavilions or equipment.
-No confetti or glitter.
-Picnic tables in the Pavilions are not moved.
-All Trash is placed in Trash receptacles.
-The Pavilion is left clean.
-Fire in grill is distinguished.

By submitting this application, I attest that I have read the Complete East Caln Township Rules & Regulations adopted by Resolution and understand them and agree to comply. I also understand that the rental fee is nonrefundable; East Caln Township will not be responsible for inclement weather or water feature malfunction.

After your event, the Township will verify the Rules and Regulations were followed and if so, your $50.00 Deposit will be refunded to your card.

Do you agree that you and your guests will abide by the East Caln Township Park at Bell Tavern Rules and Regulations as well as all Local, State and Federal Laws:

1. The Park shall be open from sunrise to sunset.
2. No person shall enter or leave the property except by the entrances provided.
3. No person shall climb, stand upon, remove or relocate any bench or table from
the Park.
4. No person shall damage, deface or remove trees, shrubs, structures or fixtures in
the Park.
5. No person shall engage in any abusive, indecent or threatening language or any
conduct that is illegal, immoral, or may annoy others.
6. No soliciting or posting, except for the posting of notices by the Township.
7. No animals shall be allowed unless on a leash. The person responsible for the
pet shall clean up and properly dispose of any animal waste.
8. No person shall dispose of garbage and/or waste except inthe receptacles
provided for that purpose.
9. No person shall annoy, strike, injure, or kill any animal, bird, fish or their nests,
eggs or habitat.
10. No sound amplification equipment is permitted inthe Park.
11. No one shall set up any booth, table, or structure within the Park without the
written consent of the Township Office.
12. No solicitation of any kind is allowed in the Park.
13. The possession and/or use of fireworks in the Park are prohibited.
14. Parking shall be in designated spaces only.
15. Drive Carefully. Speed limit in the Park is restricted to 5 MPH.
16.No motorized rides or equipment may be operated in the park.
17.No inflatables (bouncy houses, slides etc.)
18.No tape, staples, nails, string, ribbon, streamers etc. affixed to any park equipment
or structure.
19.No confetti or glitter.
20.When using the grills, do not dump hot coals into trash taters (as this can cause
a fire.)
21.No person shall use or allow to be used within the park any drugs, tobacco
products, electronic nicotine delivery devices or alcohol.
Violation of the foregoing rules and regulations subjects the violator to a fine of
$300 for each and every offense. In addition, the Downingtown Police shall be
authorized to issue citations for parking in undesignated areas*

Once you submit your Application and Payment and it is received by the Township, you will receive an e-mail confirmation stating the confirmation or denial of your application. Reservations are on a first come, first serve basis. If your date is close, it is highly recommended that you Contact the Township for instructions.
