Most dehumidifiers contain Freon. This item would need to be taken to the Lanchester landfill for Freon removal and recycling. There is a $20 charge.
Old TV's can be taken to the Lanchester landfill. Please contact them directly for limits and instructions. There is a fee of $20.
No!! All recycling should be put into the recycling cart loose! Plastic bags clog up the sorting machines!
Refrigerators and Freezers must have the Freon or Refrigerant removed from them professionally (usually by an HVAC or appliance company). The professional will mark it with a special certification sticker. One it is stickered, it may be set out for Bulk Trash day.
